How do I choose a massage?

Start with your aim: a quiet flowing treatment, focused attention to muscle tension or a shorter appointment for one area. Our treatment pages explain the options, and you can contact us if you are unsure.

Can I choose the pressure?

Yes. Explain your preference before the session and ask for changes during it. You do not need to tolerate painful pressure.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes are helpful. Your therapist will explain what to remove for your chosen treatment and give you privacy to prepare. You remain appropriately covered.

How will I receive my gift voucher?

After purchase is processed, your PDF voucher can be printed or emailed. Ask the team about hard-copy collection or posting arrangements before ordering.

How long are gift vouchers valid?

Vouchers are valid for six months from issue. They are transferable and can be used towards any of our massage or holistic treatments.

Can I buy a voucher without choosing a treatment?

Yes. Choose a value of £40, £50, £60, £70, £80, £100, £120, £150, £200 and £250 online, or contact us to arrange a custom value. The recipient can choose their treatment.

How do I use a voucher when booking?

Enter your Treatment Rooms voucher code at the final step of online booking. If you have a third-party voucher, mention it in the booking notes and contact us if you need help.

Can two people have treatments at the same time?

We have a double treatment room. Contact us directly to arrange simultaneous treatments for partners, friends or family; the online calendar does not show paired availability.

When can I have pregnancy massage?

Our policy is from 13 weeks in an uncomplicated pregnancy. Tell us your stage of pregnancy and discuss complications or health concerns with your maternity team and us before booking.

Can I change my booking?

The confirmation email includes a link to cancel or reschedule until 24 hours before the appointment. For a later change, contact us directly. We reserve the right to charge for late cancellations.

Where are the treatment rooms?

Bank Chambers, 10 Hart Street, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire RG9 2AU. The rooms are on the second floor and reached by stairs; there is no lift.

Is massage suitable if I have pain or a health condition?

It depends on the situation. Tell us about relevant conditions before booking. New, severe, unexplained or persistent symptoms may need assessment by a healthcare professional rather than a massage appointment.

Before you book

Most questions are easiest to answer once we know what you want from the appointment. Some people come in wanting an hour to switch off; others already know the exact area they want worked on. If you are undecided, start with our Henley massage guide or look through the treatment menu and current prices.

Pressure is not something you have to decide perfectly in advance. Tell your therapist what normally feels comfortable and speak up during the treatment if you would like it lighter or firmer.

What happens at the rooms

The Treatment Rooms are at Bank Chambers, 10 Hart Street in central Henley-on-Thames. The rooms are on the second floor and are reached by stairs; there is no lift. Your therapist will give you privacy to get ready and will explain what, if anything, needs to be removed for the treatment you have booked. You remain appropriately covered throughout.

If you are arranging two treatments at the same time, request a Couples Massage. We have a double treatment room, but paired availability is not shown reliably by the online calendar.

Pregnancy, pain and health questions

Pregnancy massage is offered from 13 weeks in an uncomplicated pregnancy. Let us know how far along you are when booking. If there are complications, or you have been advised to limit massage or particular positions, discuss the appointment with your maternity team first.

Massage is not a substitute for diagnosing pain. New, severe, unexplained or persistent symptoms, changes in sensation, or symptoms following an injury may need assessment by an appropriate healthcare professional before a massage appointment.

Vouchers and booking changes

Treatment Rooms vouchers are valid for six months from issue and can be transferred to someone else. You can buy a set value without choosing a treatment for the recipient. The voucher code is entered at the final step of online booking.

Your booking confirmation email includes the link for cancelling or rescheduling up to 24 hours before the appointment. For a later change, contact us directly. Late cancellations may be charged under the booking and voucher terms.

For anything specific to an existing appointment or voucher, contact the team. Please do not email card details.
