Massage for Everybody Raises £190 for Charity

On Saturday, 19 October, Massage for Everybody raised £190 for PIP, a London-based charity that supports adults with learning disabilities.

Pursuing Independent Paths held its second annual Mountain Bike Challenge starting and ending at Lovibond’s in Henley-on-Thames.  The local wellbeing professionals got involved by offering 15 minute chair massages and collecting donations to PIP as payment for the treatments.  The neck, back and shoulder massages were well received, as the participants had just completed a 19 mile Mountain Bike ride through the wooded trails near Hambleden, also to raise funds for PIP.

“We have built charitable contribution into our business model, stated Jessica Sinclair, (owner and therapist) so we are pleased to see such an enthusiastic response to our first fundraising activity.”  Massage for Everybody is a “triple bottom line company,” seeking to benefit ‘people, planet and profit.’  They have been operating as an On-Site massage provider since January of this year, and have recently been asked to manage The Treatment Rooms at the Red Lion Hotel in Henley, which will offer massage and holistic treatments to residents of the area as well as hotel guests.
